Yoruko is an illustrator who struggles with communication. She lives in a town where animals work in many shops. A cat waiter makes cafe lattes, and other animals hold jobs around town. Yoruko finds it easier to enjoy daily life there than around ordinary people. Gentle encounters with hardworking animals brighten her routine.
