Akagi, Miyamoto, and Taniguchi are three foolish students at a technical high school. Their classmates know them as a hopeless trio. They start a second volleyball team at school for the misguided purpose of becoming popular. Their plan is driven less by athletic discipline than by reckless adolescent desire. The early comedy follows their crude attempts to turn volleyball into social success.
