Yohoi is twenty-seven when she suddenly loses both her home and her job. Suspicion of an affair leaves her cornered and desperate. An old high school friend named Hoshizora reaches out to help her. Their reunion comes at a moment when Yohoi has nowhere stable to stand. The early setup follows an adult woman trying to rebuild after scandal and loss.
