Hundreds of years after leaving Earth for space, a mermaid clan returns to lay eggs. They find that Earth's environment has changed dramatically. Among them is Jimmy, a mermaid princess. She becomes involved with Art, a human prince. Their relationship begins against the backdrop of a transformed planet.
