Kotono is a high school senior who keeps getting earnest confessions from Nao, a boy five years younger than her. She treats him like a troublesome kid and keeps turning him away. Then she meets an older university student who seems to match the kind of partner she always imagined. Even so, Nao's straightforward feelings keep forcing her to compare polished charm with stubborn sincerity.
