Nari Kinboshi, a 15-year-old high school freshman, faces poverty after her irresponsible parents abandon her and her baby brother, Kou, to travel abroad. Moving in with her grandmother, who is closing her old-fashioned clothing store, Nari decides to transform the shop into a trendy fashion brand called Love Cotton to support their living expenses. She recruits talented classmates: Mirai Nishina, a skilled designer with a cool demeanor; Tadashi Nakano, a sewing expert; and Rin Saotome, a stylish girl who becomes the shop’s sales star. Together, they open Fashion Shop Love Cotton in just a month, navigating challenges like attracting customers and balancing school life. Set in a lively urban neighborhood, their efforts spark new friendships and Nari’s growing feelings for Mirai.
