A forty-year-old mother has spent twenty-two years focused on raising her daughter. When her daughter becomes a working adult, she feels that her role as a mother has ended. She decides to restart the high school life she once left because of childbirth. Night school gives her a place to face choices that were postponed for decades. The early setup follows a woman rebuilding her own life after years of putting her child first.
