Tsukimi Kurashita, a shy and awkward jellyfish enthusiast, moves to Tokyo to pursue her dream of becoming an illustrator, living in Amamizukan, a women-only apartment for otaku. Surrounded by fellow "Sisters" with their own quirky obsessions, Tsukimi's quiet life is upended when she rescues a stylish woman from a pet shop mishap—only to discover she's Kuranosuke Koibuchi, a charismatic cross-dressing man. As Kuranosuke shakes up their world with fashion and ambition, the Sisters band together to save Amamizukan from redevelopment, launching an unexpected jellyfish-inspired clothing line.
