In Taisho-era Japan, Kiku is a young girl working as a live-in maid at a grand mansion, where she discovers a beautiful doll tucked away in the attic—an enchanting, living figure known as a Rozen Maiden. Meanwhile, her younger sister Hana, employed at Tokyo’s iconic twelve-story tower, stumbles into her own strange encounter, pulling them both into a web of mystery. As Kiku crosses paths with these ethereal dolls, including the spirited Suiseiseki and gentle Souseiseki, a tale of secrets and sisterhood begins to unfold against a backdrop of romantic Taisho charm. Their journey intertwines with the dolls’ quest to protect the city from a haunting dreamlike force, blending elegance, wonder, and a touch of the supernatural.
