A solitary hunter survives in a ruined world where man-eating monsters roam. He makes a living by killing those creatures at the edge of life and death. A girl who has been confined indoors leaves home for the first time to search for her missing mother. Their meeting joins two very different forms of isolation. Together they begin a dangerous journey through unknown territory.
