In a world where humanity faces a new and dangerous species known as Diclonii—mutants with telekinetic abilities and horn-like protrusions—Lucy, a teenage Diclonius, escapes from a secretive research facility, leaving chaos in her wake. Washed ashore and found by two unsuspecting college students, Kouta and Yuka, she appears harmless, adopting the childlike persona of Nyu. But as fragments of Lucy's violent past resurface, the trio becomes entangled in a web of danger, moral dilemmas, and hidden truths.
