Nao Yoshikawa, a middle school third-year student, moves into a Tokyo apartment to live alone for six months after her parents relocate to the countryside. On moving day, she discovers Hisashi Uehara, a popular and attractive classmate, has also rented the same apartment due to a scam by their housing agency. Unable to afford other options, Nao and Hisashi agree to share the apartment secretly, as their school and families would disapprove. Nao, cheerful but slightly airheaded, navigates the challenges of living with the cool-headed Hisashi, leading to frequent misunderstandings and humorous moments.
