Azumi
A young woman is raised in the final years of the Tokugawa shogunate as an assassin. Her mission is to eliminate powerful men whose actions threaten the country's future. She is trained to move through political violence with discipline and secrecy. The setting places her near the conflicts of the Bakumatsu era. Her early path is shaped by duty, killing, and the question of what peace demands.
