ROOKIES

Koichi Kawato is a new Japanese teacher at a troubled high school. The school's baseball club is made up of delinquents who were suspended from competition after a brawl. The remaining members care more about women, smoking, and wasting time than baseball. Kawato refuses to give up on them and keeps speaking about their dreams. Under his guidance, the team begins to remember why they loved the sport.
