Tamaki Shirane, an ordinary middle school boy, reluctantly cares for reptiles at his family’s pet shop despite his dislike for them. Saya Abukawa, a beautiful girl who loves reptiles, spots Tamaki working and boldly asks him out, mistaking him for a fellow enthusiast. The two begin dating, navigating the awkwardness of their budding relationship amidst their contrasting feelings about reptiles.
