Miku Ikenouchi is a first-year high school girl whose school life and romance seem to be going smoothly. She dates an older student, but she is unsure whether romance is truly enjoyable. After noticing an unfamiliar boy's gaze at school, she cannot stop thinking about him. Her parents then announce that they want to turn the family home into a boarding house. The decision brings new boarders into her daily life and unsettles the future she thought was stable.
