Naoto Yanagi grows up rich, spoiled, and used to being first in school and sports. His pride is wounded when Mikoto Kujou transfers in and beats him at everything. Naoto decides to make Mikoto lose by making her fall for him. Years later, both are in college and he is still chasing that goal. His rivalry turns into a long romantic contest he cannot easily control.
