Inukai Chiho is a frustrated middle school girl tired of being mocked for not having a smartphone and feeling stuck in her dull coastal town of Numazu. One day, while sulking by the sea, she encounters a strange creature she names Q, a quirky alien that eats people’s bad emotions and heals them in the process. Deciding to secretly keep Q in her room, Chiho’s mundane life takes a turn into the bizarre as she bonds with this mysterious being.
