Kayoko starts enjoying life at her new high school with her close friend. Anonymous notes begin asking whether she has a boyfriend and who she will go to the summer festival with. The sender turns out to be Yoshihiro from the soccer club, and they begin dating. Their first romance is awkward and gentle, and she struggles to act naturally around him. Family concerns and small misunderstandings soon make the distance between them harder to ignore.
